Responsibilities of the Candidate:

Provide product development and technical analysis related to power electronics and power systems control of renewable generation, battery energy storage systems, and large industrial drives.
Review the Grid Codes for different operating entities/owners across the world and develop a product compliance matrix.
Work with the functional team to determine existing product compliance.
Develop Compliance reports for each of the product lines and work with the engineering team to address any grid code compliance issues.
Develop a technical understanding of the electrical characteristics of GE Vernova Solar & Storage Solutions power electronics products and their integration into electrical grids.
Support continuous development of transmission and distribution connected products based on evolving codes and standards through participation in industry standards groups and leading innovative approaches to power equipment design.
Communicate to both internal and external customers by preparing detailed written reports or presentations describing analyses performed, solutions developed, and customer value propositions.
Support domestic and international projects across regions depending on overall market needs and communicate customer needs and values back to GE.
Participate in and support project teams ensuring high-quality deliverables, budget, and on-time project metrics are met.
Participate in a working environment where teamwork, quality, customer service, and innovation are prized.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical or electric power engineering, or a related field of study.
0 – 3 years of relevant work experience is required.
General understanding/awareness of electrical grid code topics.
General understanding/awareness of country/region technical regulations and standards.
Understanding of inverter-based electrical equipment.
Must have strong communication and organization skills.
