Core Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Receive Purchase Requests (PR) and convert them to Purchase Orders.
2. Handle indirect procurement purchasing activities and support the Sourcing team.
3. Provide support for queries from clients, stakeholders, and internal IBM teams.
4. Transmit Purchase Orders to suppliers and expedite delivery when needed/requested.
5. Manage goods/services claims and serve as an escalation point for customer queries.
6. Amend or close Purchase Orders and engage in reporting activities.
7. Address queries received from Business Requestors, Suppliers, Procurement Managers, and Accounts Payable.
8. Create reports on Open Purchase Orders, Blanket Purchase Order expiration reports, Contract Expiration reports, and other reports in the required format with good quality.
9. Maintain updated records on processed transactions.
10. Manage priorities, deadlines, and tasks to meet goals, handling multiple concurrent tasks.
11. Interact well with the team and client stakeholders, demonstrating good interpersonal skills.
12. Maintain a positive attitude, exhibit planning skills, curiosity, self-discipline, and the ability to work in rotational shifts.
13. Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise for IBM Careers:

• Any graduate with 0 to 1 year of relevant experience in Customer Support, Inquiry Management, or Freshers.
