Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or MBA degree in finance, Real Estate, or related disciplines with excellent academic credentials, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Professional Membership: Member of RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience: 0-3 years of work experience in the real estate industry, with proficiency in reviewing real estate documents (leases, loan documents, rent rolls, income statements, appraisals, other third-party reports) and abstracting relevant deal points for financial analysis.
• Technical Skills:
  • Outstanding computer orientation and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word software.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with Argus Software is preferred.
• Quantitative Skills: Strong quantitative orientation, with knowledge or the ability to learn principles necessary in real estate underwriting, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net Present Value (NPV), Time Value of Money, Return on Equity, Debt Returns, etc.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work Environment: A desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment.
• Personal Attributes: Self-motivating individual who is detail-oriented, has strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team under deadlines.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Team Involvement: Part of the Capital Market team, reporting directly to the team head, supporting the commercial real estate business.
• Document Abstraction: Perform lease abstraction, loan abstraction, and multifamily sizing.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and Argus modeling of all property types.
• Collaboration: Work closely with analysts and stakeholders from various global offices, supporting various processes within the capital market team.
• Skill Enhancement: This role will help enhance skills and global real estate knowledge through exposure to diverse processes and collaboration.
