Job Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking candidates for the role of Automation Test Engineer. As an Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for working within an agile development process (such as Scrum or Kanban) from the test design, test automation, and execution perspective. You should have hands-on experience with Java and Selenium, and a good understanding of automation frameworks. Your responsibilities will include developing automation scripts for manual test suites, fixing test scripts runtime, and maintaining them. You will also be responsible for generating API, web UI, and performance automated test scripts, as well as executing these scripts on various builds. Experience with test case management tools like HP-ALM and JIRA is preferred, and the ability to quickly grasp and learn new automation tools is important. Additionally, you should be capable of reviewing code and maintaining coding standards.
Responsibilities:
- Work within an agile development process (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) from the test design, test automation, and execution perspective.
- Have hands-on experience with Java and Selenium.
- Understand and work with the existing automation framework to develop automation scripts for manual test suites.
- Fix test scripts runtime issues and perform maintenance as needed.
- Generate automated test scripts for API, web UI, and performance testing.
- Implement, execute, and debug automated test scripts using various technology and tools.
- Execute test scripts on different builds.
- Familiarity with test case management tools like HP-ALM and JIRA.
- Quickly grasp and learn new automation tools.
- Review code and maintain coding standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Preferred Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Java.
- Experience with build tools like Maven and DevOps tools like Jenkins.
- Extensive hands-on experience using SOAP UI for WebServices automation.
