Job Description:
As a Data Analyst at S&P Global, you will be responsible for conducting research, data extraction, and analysis from various sources according to established guidelines. Your primary goal will be to deliver accurate and high-quality work within specified timelines. You will also be expected to identify any new disclosures or gaps in policies or procedures and report them appropriately. Building subject matter expertise in the relevant data set and contributing to process improvement through error check audits and tool enhancements will be essential. Additionally, you will be involved in collecting, standardizing, and validating corporate financial data from published reports. Troubleshooting problems, providing team support, and meeting individual and team targets are also part of the role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform research and analyze various sources through data extraction and collection
- Deliver accurate and high-quality work within specified timelines
- Identify and report any new disclosures or gaps in policies or procedures
- Build subject matter expertise in the relevant data set
- Contribute to process improvement through error check audits and tool enhancements

Eligibility Criteria:
- PGDM/MBA/M.Com qualification
- Streams Eligible: Any stream with Finance as a major
- Proficient in internet searching and Microsoft Office
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet fast deadlines
- Inquisitive and investigative nature
- Positive attitude, strong research skills, flair for writing, and attention to detail
- Ability to interact professionally with various levels of stakeholders
- Basic business and financial knowledge (specialization is a plus)
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Quick learner with a result-oriented mindset
- Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate professionalism and good work ethics
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts
- Comfortable taking initiative and being resourceful
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
