Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage a data pipeline product using technologies such as Kafka, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kotlin, and ELK.
2. Build and maintain Kafka stream applications to enhance and clean data, manage Kafka Connects for data ingestion and reading.
3. Collaborate with users and stakeholders to understand information needs, study system flows, data usage, and work processes to develop platform features.
4. Manage multiple Spring Boot applications within the product.
5. Manage Kafka resources on AWS, ensuring high performance and availability.
6. Interact with and manage PostgreSQL databases required for different applications within the product.
7. Develop and maintain integrations with third-party and internal security modules.
8. Monitor and support pipeline health by analyzing Splunk, AppDynamics, and Grafana Dashboards.
9. Develop and manage integrations with AWS managed ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and design data visualizations using Kibana.
10. Support new client implementations on the platform.
11. Document and demonstrate solutions through documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, and clear code.
12. Automate current workload to improve throughput.
13. Review and debug code.
14. Perform validation and verification testing.
15. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and enhance products.

Qualifications required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience.

Preferred skills:

• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot framework, and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of AWS services such as VPC, EC2, SNS, IAM, S3, Elastic Cache, Cloud Formation, Lambda, and DMS.
• Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Microservices.
• Exposure to tools like Jira, Confluence, Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics, and Prometheus.
• Experience in designing and developing APIs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work with customers, product owners, and managers to understand configurations, requirements, and convey them to the engineering team.
