Position:

(CITI Bank Off Campus Drive)Software Developer (CCB Data and API Framework) – Pune, India

As a Software Developer in the CCB Data and API Framework team, you will work independently with business owners, global teams, and stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that meet client and business needs. This role involves various aspects of the software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, analysis, design, coding, testing, and release-deployment cycles. You will have the opportunity to learn about development processes, quality assurance, and release cycles.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Project Lead and Business owners to understand requirements.
Take ownership of delivering projects through the full development lifecycle.
Develop performance-efficient JAVA/J2EEE and UI code, leveraging your design and development experience.
Understand deployment/entitlement strategies.
Interact with internal clients to ensure their needs are met.
Develop and manage a communication program to keep partner organizations informed of progress, conducting periodic reviews with work stream Business Leads and Key Stakeholders.
Contribute to the formulation of strategies for applications development and other functional areas.
Develop comprehensive knowledge of how different areas of the business integrate to achieve business goals.
Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual data in complicated and unique situations.
Assess risks appropriately when making business decisions, considering the firm’s reputation and the protection of Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations and adhere to policies and ethical standards.
Effectively supervise the activity of others and establish accountability for those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

0-3 years of relevant experience in the Financial Services industry.
Basic knowledge of industry practices and standards.
Demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills:

Basic knowledge of Core JAVA, SQL, Oracle PLSQL, Unix scripting, Kafka, DB Design, Spring, Spring Boot, Mongo/Elastic, Angular/REST Latest, Big Data Hadoop, Caching tech, and GIT.
Experience with CI/CD Pipeline automation.
Basic working knowledge of Unix/Linux.
Hands-on experience with MicroServices.
Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
Master’s degree preferred.
