Job Responsibilities:
As a CAD Intern at Renesas Electronics, your responsibilities will include:
- Creating components in Altium PCB design tools: You will be responsible for developing component symbols, footprints, and 3D models using Altium PCB design tools. These components will be essential for designers to develop schematics and layouts.
- Training on industry standards and guidelines: You will receive training on industry standards and guidelines for creating high-quality components. This training will ensure that you adhere to best practices in component design.
- Knowledge of basic electronics components: You should have knowledge of basic electronic components such as diodes, MOSFETs, IGBTs, MCU/MPUs, etc. This understanding will be crucial for creating accurate and comprehensive components.
- Ability to work on various domains of engineering: You should have the ability to work on different domains of engineering. This flexibility will allow you to contribute effectively to various projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for this role, you should have:
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech or equivalent degree in engineering.
Preferred Skills:
In addition to the eligibility criteria, the following skills are preferred:
- Experience in designing PLLs/Clocking circuits/Regulators is desirable.
- Basic understanding of Verilog/VHDL language.
- Sound fundamentals of basic digital design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Quick learner with a willingness to learn EDA (Electronic Design Automation) products.
