Responsibilities For Sutherland Hiring For Freshers:
- Defining Sutherland’s Reputation: Establish and maintain Sutherland’s reputation through exemplary accounting practices.
- Ensuring Accuracy: Collaborate with the accounting team to prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements. Analyze income statement accounts, reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, and provide recommendations for any issues.
- Handling Up-to-Date Information: Prepare schedules for management personnel, external auditors, and SEC reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Contribute to the preparation of monthly journal entries.
- Strengthening Relationships: Work closely with business units to develop division budgets and maintain accurate records in the financial system. Foster a customer-centered work environment by collaborating with the Manager, peers, and staff.
- Being Analytical and Creative: Implement mechanisms to measure customer satisfaction and collaborate with the Manager and staff to enhance overall levels of customer service.
Qualifications:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field from a four-year college or university, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with familiarity with financial systems.
- Solid understanding of fundamental accounting concepts and the ability to apply that knowledge effectively.
- Knowledge and experience in applying generally accepted accounting principles.
- Strong customer service orientation demonstrated through previous relevant roles.
- Ability to build and manage relationships with employees and staff within the organization.
- Demonstrated analytical skills for reviewing financial data and generating reports and statements that meet company standards.
- Proactive approach to take ownership of business unit accounting work, enabling financial analysts to focus on providing financial support to the business.
- Preference for working in a service-oriented environment where continuous improvement of business processes is expected.
