Responsibilities For S&P Global Hiring For Freshers:
- Act as a product specialist for Enterprise Solutions and provide comprehensive technical assistance to clients.
- Assist in the deployment and troubleshooting of solutions on-the-go.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of products, both in terms of content and delivery, and support pre and post-sales opportunities.
- Bring innovative ideas and automation excellence to the support process, initiating projects to replicate and resolve client issues.
- Create complex SQL queries (MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) to utilize data and assist clients with query tuning and performance enhancements.
- Stay updated with the rapidly evolving product offerings and conduct research to enhance knowledge.
- Assess the technical environment at client sites that may impact product performance.
- Participate in testing and user-acceptance tests of Enterprise Solution applications, focusing on pending modifications and fixes.
- Maintain the local infrastructure, including Database Servers (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL) and Virtual Machines.
Requirements:
- Graduate in Computer Science with 0 to 2 years of experience.
- Strong foundational knowledge in various aspects of Computer Science, including development, database concepts, and networking.
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in .Net/C# or Java.
- Familiarity with web protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, FTPS, etc., and their features/commands.
- Understanding of HTTP messages (headers, body, response codes, commands, arguments, etc.).
- Knowledge of network and security protocols (Web Sockets, TCPIP, SSL, TLS, etc.).
- Exposure to proxy protocols (SOCKS4, SOCKS5, HTTP, Custom, etc.) and web transport schemes (SOAP, XML, JSON, etc.).
- Understanding of web development languages (JavaScript, Java, Python, CSS, PHP, Ruby, .Net, Objective C, R, Perl, etc.).
- Familiarity with web services/architecture (SOA, PAAS, URL/URI, REST, WSDL, WADL, service signatures, etc.).
- Exposure to Windows, Unix, or Linux environments.
- Knowledge of RDBMS concepts.
- Quick learner with the ability to grasp new technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Resourcefulness, attention to detail, and the ability to keep up with rapid product changes.
- Willingness to work in 5-day shifts, including longer night shifts.
