Responsibilities:
Business / Customer
- Proficiently understand and articulate complex problems related to specific technologies.
- Provide support for business development by assisting in drafting RFP/RFI responses, creating presentations and collaterals, and formulating recommendations. Also, support presales by developing case studies and capability decks.
- Effectively present project capabilities to potential clients, emphasizing Cognizant’s unique selling proposition.
- Engage with the community network to stay competitive with emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with the client team to address escalations and implement change requests and engineering tasks.
- Lead technical discussions in customer governance calls and interact with users, customers, and first-level management.
Project / Process
- Manage specific technologies within projects and contribute to High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), implementations, and test plans.
- Participate in technical audits and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and environment stabilization.
- Translate technical requirements into effective design solutions.
- Take the lead in Technology and Innovation Program (TIP) initiatives, collaborating with Centers of Excellence (CoE) for successful implementation.
- Create, update, and review run books, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and knowledge articles for specific technology areas.
- Plan, prepare, and execute change processes while ensuring standardized procedures.
- Actively contribute to reducing Cost of Delivery (COD) through left shift methodologies and driving Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) and automation initiatives.
- Develop templates, checklists, and guidelines for Due Diligence, Transitions, and Knowledge Transfer (KT).
People / Team
- Mentor and enable L1/L2 team members to enhance their skill sets.
- Deliver technology training through the Academy or within the project group for various technologies and tools.
- Participate in recruitment processes and provide support as a buddy to new hires.
- Proactively foster team building and contribute to onboarding efforts through mentoring.
- Support knowledge management activities by creating case studies, technical artifacts, and reference architectures related to your technical domain.
