Job Responsibilities:
- Shape the future of the Internet with innovative products and solutions.
- Collaborate with solution architects and technical leaders to develop software on Sandvine’s leading-edge platforms.
- Implement high-quality, high-performance code.
- Debug and troubleshoot problems in both test and production environments.
Qualification required:
- BE or ME (or equivalent degree) in Engineering or Computer Science.
Preferred skills:
- Way above-average programming skills and awareness, primarily in C/C++/Java (at least 2 out of 3).
- Networking expertise: Master of L2 (Ethernet, VLAN, Bridges, STP), L3 (IP, IPv6, ARP, ICMP), L4 (TCP, UDP) concepts, and knowledge of network management (SNMP, XML, NMS, EMS).
- Hands-on kernel programming skills with a deep understanding of operating systems, especially Linux/FreeBSD.
- Microprocessor/Network processor programming skills are an asset.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in scripting (Python and Database) technologies.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting capabilities for complex system and solution-level problems.
- Motivated self-starter with strong communication, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities.
