Job Description:
Boeing Talent Acquisition is currently seeking to hire an Associate Software Engineer – Full Stack for Boeing India Engineering (BIE) Software, based in Bengaluru, India. The primary focus of these positions will be to support Cloud-based implementation projects for various Boeing business units, such as BCA, BDS, and BGS.
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for UI and Java/Spring backend development of Cloud-based Software Applications.
- Decompose Tier 3 System requirements into Tier 4 Software requirements for the identified system features.
- Develop automated Test scenarios to validate Tier 4 Software requirements.
- Create High-level Designs based on system and software architecture.
- Develop Detailed Designs from High-level designs.
- Implement UI based on detailed design and conduct unit testing.
- Develop Software integration test Scripts to verify the correct implementation of Tier 4 requirements.
- Establish traceability from Tier 3 requirements to software code and tests.
- Perform peer reviews on System and Software Requirements, Design, Code, and Test.
- Provide support for SRR (Systems Requirements Review), PDR (Preliminary Design Reviews), and CDR (Critical Design Reviews).
- Assist in project management by providing periodic status updates and required metrics data.
- Demonstrate good teamwork in the Agile team setting.
- Possess excellent communication skills to actively participate in design and code reviews.
- Exhibit a thorough understanding of version control and software quality attributes, including testability, portability, and maintainability.
- Embrace a self-driven and collaborative development approach.
- Be proactive in supporting management and leads to ensure successful product deliveries.
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks, issues, and opportunities in a timely manner.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Familiarity with Angular, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Foundation, or Bootstrap.
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor/Masters) and generally 1 or more years of related work experience.
- Proficiency in Java (Core and Advanced), SOA, Spring/SpringBoot, and Hibernate.
- Experience in Restful Web services and Microservices.
- Good understanding of Databases (SQL as well as NoSQL).
- Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/PCF).
- Experience in Software Build, integration, and Debugging in Simulated and integration Environment.
- Systems Thinking – Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipating future events.
- Analytical Skills – The ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data, summarize findings, and develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
