Job Responsibilities:
- Develop web application backend Services/APIs using React and related technologies.
- Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of the built application.
- Identify and address bottlenecks and bugs, and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with peer developers and management to ensure quality delivery to the business.
- Provide timely updates to the business and internal team, ensuring a smooth experience.
- Perform unit testing and automated functional testing using frameworks like Selenium.
- Familiarity with consuming RESTful JSON services and Fast APIs.
- Translate requirements into backend code.
- Knowledge of 12 Factor App Design methodology and microservices architecture is a plus.
- Build and maintain application documentation, sharing knowledge with team members.
- Resolve customer issues and bugs in application code.
- Work effectively in a global team environment.
Qualification required:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech/B.E./MCA) with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems OR Master’s in computer applications.
Preferred skills:
- 0 to 2 years hands-on experience in React, Redux, NodeJS.
- Hands-on experience using Visual Studio.
- Application performance tuning knowledge and ability to solve performance issues.
- Experience in automating builds with tools like Maven and SVN.
- Experience in developing and deploying microservice applications on public clouds like Azure or AWS is a plus.
- Knowledge of Design Patterns is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps is a plus.
- Strong logical and analytical skills, clear communication in English (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of Security concepts and protocols in enterprise applications.
- Results-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of multitasking.
- Experience in systems analysis, user requirements gathering, and interpretation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to travel globally.
