Candidate Responsibilities:
- Perform design and strength calculations for various pressure equipment, including Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, and Heat Exchangers.
- Develop mechanical datasheets, technical specifications, and technical requisitions for equipment.
- Evaluate technical bids and make bid recommendations based on technical assessments.
- Stay updated with industry codes and guidelines for equipment such as Pumps, Compressors, Pressure Vessels, Tall Columns, and Heat Exchangers.
- Review 3D equipment models using Navisworks software, ensuring alignment with vendor information, equipment specifications, and industry codes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related mechanical engineering discipline.
- Attained a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grades in the Qualifying Examination from a reputable Indian University or Institute.
- Strong understanding of heat and mass transfer, fluid mechanics, and strength of materials.
- Proficient in the English language.
