In the role of this position, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Designing, constructing, installing, testing, and maintaining highly scalable data management systems in accordance with business requirements and industry standards. This involves utilizing data modelling, data warehousing, and data manipulation techniques.
- Developing and deploying individual datasets for further modelling, driven by commercial or analytical needs. This includes extracting, loading, and transforming data from diverse sources.
- Supporting the integration of new data sources, both batch and streaming, into shared data environments like the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) or Big Data Platforms.
- Creating high-performance algorithms, prototypes, predictive models, and proof of concepts to translate business requirements into practical data engineering tasks.
- Researching opportunities for data acquisition and identifying new applications for existing data.
- Developing data set processes for data modelling, mining, and production.
- Integrating new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing systems.
- Designing and implementing custom software components and analytics applications using various programming languages and tools.
- Collaborating with data architects, modellers, and IT team members to achieve project goals.
- Building, maintaining, and updating programmes using languages like Python, Scala, Java.
- Creating and maintaining reports and dashboards to provide insights from data.

- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from any field of study.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- A translation test will be conducted as part of the interview process.
