Job Description:
What We’ll Bring:
This role involves serving as a QA Consultant within one of the core teams responsible for assessing the functionality of TransUnion’s Billing Platform, including both new and existing features.
What You’ll Bring:
- Collaborate closely with Scrum team members to clarify requirements, ensure testability, and offer feedback on both functional and technical design aspects.
- Contribute to impact assessments, evaluating the effects of feature enhancements on system-level interactions and existing automated test suites.
- Engage in in-sprint Test Design, Test planning, Test automation development, and Test execution.
- Conduct comprehensive Testing, employing robust Exploratory Testing methods to uncover vulnerabilities in test strategies.
- Create automated tests designed for high availability and scalability in applications.
- Recognize opportunities for reusability and implement test automation libraries effectively.
- Provide valuable test consultation to Scrum team members, assisting in the creation of robust Unit Test suites.
- Uphold accountability for the quality of your work and that of the entire development team.
- Document defects and offer recommendations for their resolution.
- Execute performance and scalability testing.
- Take on development responsibilities, including code review and bug analysis, assessing development and test impacts, crafting test tools, and identifying automation possibilities.
- Contribute to enhancing unit testing coverage, designing test frameworks, developing test suites, expanding automated testing capabilities, and automating various scenarios and test cases.
- Assist in creating technical specifications for IT development and the formulation and execution of detailed test plans to validate system changes in alignment with functional and quality assurance requirements.
