Unisys Job Responsibilities:

In your role at Unisys, you will have various responsibilities, including:

1. Tier 1 Support: Working under general supervision, you will perform Tier 1 specific tasks and function as a Tier 1 escalation point for well-defined incidents and basic problems.
2. Infrastructure Support: Supporting and maintaining servers, networks, messaging systems, mainframes, database environments, and host infrastructures.
3. Application Support: Providing support for customer proprietary, COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf), or Unisys applications and responding to service outages and other problems/issues.
4. Troubleshooting: Supporting simple troubleshooting requirements and performing incident restoration while implementing standard changes.
5. Vendor Coordination: Coordinating with vendors using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
6. Escalation: Escalating issues to Resolver Groups as per defined escalation procedures.
7. Shift Work: Being prepared to work in rotational shifts, including 24×7 shifts, and providing on-call support if required.

Unisys Eligibility Criteria:

• University degree or equivalent education and experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, logical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Ability to support multiple clients and technologies as part of shared support delivery.

Salesforce Development Responsibilities:

Additionally, there seem to be responsibilities related to Salesforce development. Here are some of those responsibilities:

1. Salesforce Development: Performing development, unit testing, and implementation related to Salesforce.com software and the Force.com platform.
2. Business Requirements: Evaluating business requirements and determining potential Salesforce-enabled components, including the decision to use customization vs. configuration.
3. Apex and VisualForce: Having good knowledge of design and implementation using Apex classes, triggers, workflows, Salesforce Lightning (Aura), VisualForce pages, controllers, batch processes, and extensions.
4. SOQL and SOSL: Understanding Salesforce query languages like SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) and SOSL (Salesforce Object Search Language).
5. Governor Limits: Having in-depth knowledge of Salesforce governor limits and best practices.

These responsibilities cover both general IT support within Unisys and specific Salesforce development tasks.
