Candidate Responsibilities:

- Systems Development: Create systems for standard facilities, including layouts for mechanical systems, electrical drawings, valve and damper schedules, and control panel layouts, in accordance with system requirements.
- Sequences of Operations: Analyze and design sequences of operations to outline the hardware and logic requirements for various systems.
- Plan Examination: Assist in reviewing plans, construction contract specifications, and codes to determine project prerequisites and potential risks.
- Product Selection: Carefully choose appropriate product types and sizes to meet project specifications.
- Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with the sales and management teams to ensure alignment with job scope, specifications, and schematic designs, all while meeting customer needs.
- Transition to Operations: Participate in the transition process from sales to operations by attending turnover meetings to assess the accuracy of estimates and job layouts.
- Peer Review: Contribute to the peer review process for engineering documents.
Candidate Requirements:
To be eligible for this role at Siemens, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is mandatory.
- A strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, HVAC, and mechanical systems is essential.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical circuit diagrams is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- The ability to interpret customer requirements, identify needs, and proactively address issues constructively.
- Adaptability to changing demands and competing priorities from customers and internal stakeholders, along with effective time management and adherence to established deadlines.
