Job Description: DevOps Engineer
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Focus on the implementation of CI/CD practices to streamline technology integration and deployment within applications.
- DevOps Pipeline Development: Develop and execute the DevOps pipeline, encompassing various stages of the application lifecycle, from planning and coding to testing, staging, release, configuration, and monitoring.
- IT Infrastructure Management: Manage the IT infrastructure to align with the requirements of supported software code.
- Application Onboarding: Onboard applications onto the DevOps tool, configuring them based on client specifications.
- User Access Management: Establish user access workflows and provide user access following defined processes.
- DevOps Tool Customization: Customize the DevOps tool based on client recommendations.
- Collaboration with Development Teams: Collaborate with development teams to script and code the necessary connections for smooth software releases on operating systems and production infrastructure.
- Automation Tools: Utilize automation tools for testing and deployment within a DevOps environment.
- Customer Support: Offer customer support and service for the DevOps tool, providing timely assistance to both internal and external customers across multiple platforms.
- Ticket Resolution: Ensure that tickets raised on these tools are addressed and resolved within specified timelines, striving for adequate resolution to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Escalation: Follow the escalation matrix/process when resolutions become complicated or cannot be achieved.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis for critical or recurring issues.
Candidate Requirements:
- Demonstrated knowledge of competency requirements.
- Exhibits competence in various aspects with minimal support and guidance.
