Position: Help Desk Associate
Location: Bangalore
Key Responsibilities:
As a Help Desk Associate at Unisys, your role encompasses various responsibilities:
- Professional Growth: Learn and apply professional concepts while working on problems of limited scope. Build stable working relationships within the organization.
- HR Support: Provide support for HR-related processes, offering guidance and advice where needed.
- Client Interface: Primarily interface with clients, service delivery units, management, and team members to ensure accurate service requests are routed appropriately.
- HR Expertise: Develop subject matter expertise in HR-related business processes, including Workday and PeopleSoft HRMS functionality.
- Data Management: Create, update, support, and maintain Unisys workforce data using Workday.
- Coordination: Coordinate HR Shared Services activities across regions, collaborating with various functional and support teams, including TA, Rewards, HRBPs, HR Operations, UIT, CSIO, and more.
- Problem Resolution: Provide problem resolution for non-standard HR-related issues using defined practices and procedures.
- Analysis: Analyze and replicate client issues to provide timely and effective solutions.
- Efficiency and Quality: Review queues, manage backlogs, maintain to-do actions, and conduct customer satisfaction surveys to ensure efficient and high-quality support.
- International Collaboration: Work effectively with international team members to deliver seamless service to clients.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with Data Protection norms and information security policies and procedures.
Candidate Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or MBA with 4 years of experience in the HR domain or Shared Services.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Strong problem-solving and client interaction skills.
- Proficiency in MS-Office, including process flow creation using online platforms/Visio.
- Punctuality, adaptability, and a can-do attitude.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to follow defined processes, adapt to changes, and work autonomously with authenticity and integrity.
- A team player mindset and proactive approach.
- Knowledge of HR tools, Workday, PeopleSoft HCM/Business Objects (preferred).
- Technical expertise in specialist areas, with the ability to support and influence strategic decision-making.
