Job Responsibilities:
- As a Software Engineering Intern, you will collaborate with top-tier engineering professionals in the industry.
- You will be an essential team member, responsible for estimating engineering efforts, designing changes, implementing and testing changes, deploying to production, and troubleshooting production issues.
- You should possess qualities of being dynamic, collaborative, and curious, as you contribute to developing new experiences, enhancing existing products, and building distributed systems that support some of the world’s largest e-commerce and payment platforms at an unmatched scale.
- Responsibilities may include coding high-volume and scalable software with a focus on either front-end or back-end development. This could involve creating web applications using React/Node, developing back-end services using Java, SQL, ReST, and/or constructing and enhancing user-facing experiences.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in design, product development, and other business units.
Qualification Required:
- This is a university internship position, and candidates must be graduating in 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong practical experience in building software applications, including the ability to create, break down, and rebuild software applications.
- Proficiency in web technologies, such as HTTP, HTML/DOM, JavaScript, CSS, and AJAX.
- Familiarity with one or more of the following: Node.js applications, Java, C++, Python.
- Understanding of concepts like Web Services, SOA, and REST APIs.
- A continuous desire for personal and professional growth, learning, and exploration.
