Responsibilities:
- Develop automation and performance scripts that adhere to organizational standards, constructing reliable automated regression suites.
- Create and execute test plans and test cases based on functional and design specifications, and analyze and report test results to the teams.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of business functionality meeting the required quality standards.
- Concentrate on crafting efficient solutions for testing requirements spanning Web, Services/APIs, Databases, and mobile applications.
- Actively participate in internal and cross-team meetings, engage in project scoping, perform functional reviews, draft test specifications, and engage in technical reviews within an Agile environment.
- Contribute actively to functional, system, and regression testing activities.
- Gather quality assurance data and metrics to derive insights and conclusions.
- Estimate and conduct risk analysis to ensure quality delivery.
What We’re Seeking:
Basic Qualifications:
- Final-year students pursuing a B.Tech degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Proficiency in programming using Python, C#, Java, or other programming languages, along with a solid grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
- Knowledge of databases, SQL/PL-SQL, query writing, and relational database management systems (RDBMS).
- Competence in developing Test Plans and Test Cases, experience in Exploratory Testing, and the ability to create and maintain Defect Reports.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to produce clear, concise, and detailed documentation.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to work in a 24/5 environment with rotational shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with testing in Continuous Integration (CI), DevOps, and rolling deployment/upgrade models is a valuable asset.
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Windows operating systems, Networking, and 3-tier applications.
- Fundamental understanding of Cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google) is advantageous.
