Job responsibilities :
- Processing both Purchase Order (PO) and Non-PO invoices in Oracle on a daily basis within specified timeframes.
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy (99%) in invoice processing.
- Reviewing each voucher/invoice for accounting and tax compliance.
- Ensuring proper checks for invoice booking, advance payments, credits, and cost centers by analyzing invoices and recording entries.
- Coding expenses and general ledger entries for invoices.
- Analyzing the applicability of Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) on foreign and domestic payments.
- Ensuring compliance with the Goods and Services Tax (GST), including reverse charge mechanism (RCM) requirements.
- Communicating with various stakeholders to resolve open issues related to accounts payable.
- Updating process documentation and process flowcharts to reflect any changes or updates.
- Proactively resolving queries in both PO and Non-PO invoices by collaborating with buyers, approvers, and suppliers.
- Working on assignments and other ad-hoc activities as directed by a lead or manager.
Education Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree or MBA is required.
Skill Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in Oracle ERP and accounts payable processes.
- Willingness to learn and grow.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in India invoice processing.
- Strong accounting skills.
- Team player with strong work ethics and integrity.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Attention to detail, analytical skills, and general math skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently when necessary.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads.
