Genesys Responsibilities:
- Primary customer contact for providing accurate and creative technical solutions to user problems of moderate and difficult nature.
- Act as the escalation support interface with customers, ensuring positive representation of the company.
- Maintain the customer incident tracking system (Salesforce) with regular updates and resolution details, including symptoms, diagnosis, actions, and relevant data.
- Interface with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) when problems cannot be resolved at a frontline support level.
- Responsible for Moves, Adds, Changes, and Deletes (MACD) level changes in the Genesys Cloud environment, including configuration and applications.
- Provide timely progress reports on reported issues to the appropriate Project Managers/Managers or any other internal teams and senior members of the technical staff.
- Participate in a shift and ‘on-call’ roster as necessary to provide support coverage outside of standard business hours.
Genesys Eligibility Criteria:
- A degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent professional technical experience.
- 0-1 years of experience working in a Genesys contact centre environment as a support engineer.
Preferred skill:
- Application development experience in IVR, Routing, Chat, Email, Outbound Campaigns in any Genesys development tool.
- Integration experience with REST-style web services, HTTP, HTTP servers.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
- Multi-tasking ability.
- Good team player.
