Candidate Responsibilities:
- Operation Focus:
- Manage thermal power plant operations and Balance of Plant for optimal efficiency.
- Execute Cold Startup, Hot Start-up, Warm Start-up, Normal Operation, Emergency Handling, and Safe Shutdown of Units.
- Unit Management:
- Line up the unit and its auxiliaries, oversee equipment changeovers.
- Conduct routine testing of protection systems and annunciation systems.
- Safety Protocols:
- Issue and cancel PTW (Permit to Work) systems for safe isolation.
- Prioritize personnel safety and ensure equipment safety.
- Emergency Response:
- Monitor plant operations, handle emergencies, including unit shutdown and load adjustments for controlled generation.
- Provide clear instructions to field operators for Power Plant safety.
- Equipment Trials and Restoration:
- Conduct Emergency Equipment Trials and efficiently restore processes and equipment.
- Regulatory Knowledge:
- Have familiarity with the Indian Electricity Act and Rules.
- Possess knowledge of load scheduling.
Requirements:
- Education: BE/BTech in Mechanical/Electrical/Power Engineering.
- Location: Tiroda, Gondia, Maharashtra, IN.
- Skills: Strong communication skills.
