Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Lead Engineer (LE)/ Engineering Manager (EM) in developing project designs (FDS/ DDS).
  • Work with the LE to understand and apply engineering designs/technical specifications during project execution.
  • Prepare IO database and develop I/O Assignment.
  • Develop applications based on customer inputs such as C&E, Process Narratives/ descriptions, and logic diagrams.
  • Conduct FAT and commissioning for Safety system independently.
  • Assist LE/ EM in ensuring that the engineered solution meets project requirements in terms of functionality, standards, quality, and supporting documentation.
  • Implementation process at minimum cost by allocating work assignments to the project team.
  • Share technical knowledge with the project team, supervisor, own discipline, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Report progress and technical problems to Lead Engineer/Engineering Manager.
  • Work independently and be fully proficient in applying established standards, complying with quality/safety processes, and procedures.
  • Guide engineers on day-to-day technical matters.
  • Assist LE/EM in ensuring that projects are executed within the agreed schedule and budget to meet customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electronics & Communication.
  • Knowledge of the systems development lifecycle.
  • Quick analysis, incorporation, and application of new information and concepts.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with little supervision.
  • Adaptability to project changes.
  • Multi-tasking and ability to manage complicated tasks.
  • Some engineering experience.
