Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Develop, tune performance, optimize queries, and set up/configure databases with SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
- Design and implement database solutions based on business requirements.
- Create, maintain, and optimize Views/Tables, using Join techniques, data types, and functions to effectively manage complex data.
- Develop and manage technical documentation, including data models, procedures, and guidelines.
- Design, execute, and monitor data processes to ensure correctness and accuracy.
- Develop models and tools for informing pricing decisions.
- Develop pricing strategies and revise them as needed.
- Monitor pricing performance across regions and product lines, troubleshooting and resolving database issues promptly.
- Generate pricing analysis reports and present findings to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data-related needs and provide effective solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in database development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Several years of experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar role, including pricing analysis and/or sales analytics.
- Strong knowledge of database administration, design, and normalization procedures.
