Position: White-box QE Engineer (Java and ColdFusion)
The Opportunity:
ColdFusion is a user-friendly programming environment that allows for rapid development of server-side web and mobile applications. The ColdFusion team in the Bangalore office is seeking a skilled white-box QE engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience in Java and ColdFusion. This role involves certifying innovative features that contribute to ColdFusion’s reputation as a leading product.

What You’ll Do:
Coding for testing purposes: Your primary responsibility will be writing code for testing purposes.
Collaboration: Work closely with a team of passionate ColdFusion engineers to research and propose new features that advance the ColdFusion language and platform.
Certification: Assist in certifying new state-of-the-art ColdFusion features during the development process.
Test planning and execution: Create and execute test plans efficiently.
Automation: Design and implement automation systems and workflows.
User engagement: Engage with the ColdFusion community to address user inquiries and provide support.
Thought leadership: Contribute thought leadership to all aspects of the role, including product features and process improvements.
What You Need to Succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Advanced coding skills in Java and ColdFusion.
Strong programming, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
Experience working with application servers (e.g., Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere), web servers (e.g., IIS, Apache), and databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
Familiarity with both Windows and non-Windows platforms (e.g., Linux, Solaris, Mac).
Thorough understanding of automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium).
High motivation and the ability to contribute effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
