Responsibilities:

  1. Prioritize Customer Satisfaction: The team’s primary goal is to maintain a customer-centric approach and ensure that clients are delighted in every interaction.
  2. Technical Support Expertise: Team members respond promptly to customer inquiries through calls and chat sessions, demonstrating technical precision in addressing issues and troubleshooting Alcon Medical Devices.
  3. Efficient Problem Resolution: The team is committed to providing efficient technical support by resolving issues during customer interactions or escalating them appropriately for further assistance.
  4. Comprehensive Documentation: Each customer interaction is meticulously documented by creating Service Cases within Alcon’s Service Management System (ServiceMax).
  5. Customer Follow-Up: The team takes the initiative to follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction and the successful completion of support services.
  6. Field Service Coordination: For issues requiring on-site assistance, Service Cases are dispatched to country Field Service Engineers (FSEs) responsible for specific customer accounts.
  7. Expertise and Compliance: Team members maintain up-to-date knowledge in various domains, including technical product details, company policies, regulations, eye anatomy, common diseases, ophthalmic procedures, and safety protocols. They also report potential safety issues and concerns to management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

The team’s success is measured using several KPIs, including:

  • Meeting metrics for call volume, response times, and schedule adherence individually.
  • Achieving group-defined targets for customer satisfaction.
  • Meeting product-specific phone-fix ratio goals.
  • Accurate documentation of all service interactions within ServiceMax.
