Altair Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Program Management team to create a comprehensive Validation/Testing Strategy for the product suite.
- Develop and review detailed, well-structured test cases.
- Execute test suites, analyze test results, and monitor software testing metrics. Prepare test reports with the relevant metrics and findings.
- Identify and report bugs, providing clear steps to reproduce and pinpoint potential root causes.
- Oversee the automation framework, taking charge of designing and developing web UI, web service API test automation scripts, and organizing test suites.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration within the QA team and across cross-functional teams (Development, DevOps, Product Management, Documentation) to resolve issues and advance initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as developers and product managers and assist in bug triage.
- Drive the incorporation of highly automated product certification testing into CI/CD processes.
- Understand customer use cases, delve into software development intricacies, and formulate QA approaches to measure product confidence.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and manage testing activities.
Altair Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in software QA testing.
Preferred Skills:
- Solid understanding of QA software testing principles.
- Knowledge of programming languages like C#, Java, or Python.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Katalon, BDD, etc.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Quick learner, self-motivated, and adept at teamwork.
