Job Responsibilities:
- Follow pre-defined SOPs, standard test methods, or processes.
- Execute test cases for small, simple components and/or features related to apps, services, or devices to ensure they are operating as designed.
- Meet daily productivity and quality targets in test execution.
- Log bugs and failures related to the execution of test instructions and quality mechanisms.
- Track bug resolution according to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Contribute ideas to improve project processes and simplify daily routines.
- Impact the quality of assigned components and features.
- Acquire knowledge from peers, on-the-job training, and provided content.
Qualifications required:
- BE, BTech, Master of Computer Applications (MCA), BSc in Computers, BCA, MSc in Information Technology (IT).
- Little or no previous experience necessary.
- Work hours: 8 AM to 5 PM, mostly (subject to change based on business requirements).
- Workdays: Saturday and Sunday, mostly (subject to change based on business requirements).
Preferred skills:
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with testing acumen.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Familiarity with the Windows desktop environment and software like Word, Excel, IE, Firefox, etc.
- Flexibility and willingness to perform repetitive tasks.
- Sense of ownership, drive, and ability to meet daily deadlines.
