Responsibilities:
As a Risk Analyst at American Express, you will be involved in various critical tasks to enhance the efficiency of third-party programs and mitigate associated risks. Key responsibilities include:
- Deploying Third-Party Key Risk Indicators for both Non-Affiliate and Affiliate Third-Party Programs.
- Automating existing monitoring mechanisms to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
- Providing enriched insights using industry data and best practice tools.
- Conducting advanced data analytics to identify trends, leading indicators, and potential risks.
- Leveraging unstructured data sources (e.g., social media, customer chat) to identify process breakdowns in Third-Party Risk.
- Contacting clients with overdue accounts and implementing preventive measures.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong technical and analytical skills to apply quantitative methods and derive actionable insights.
- Proven ability to translate complex information into comprehensive conclusions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams and vendors.
- Rigorous and analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Proactive in identifying issues and providing recommended solutions.
- Knowledge of American Express’s Third-Party Management Programs is desired.
