Responsibilities:
- Research, develop, and pursue issues, working with teams of developers and test engineers across the organization.
- Be involved in all phases of the cellular integration process, impacting the experience of millions of customers.
- Demonstrate a passion for performance, automation, and software, along with hands-on automation experience.
- Lead small teams of engineers as a tech lead or manager.
- Act as a domain expert with cellular baseband development and testing experience.
- Set up and manage test systems for testing end-to-end cellular functionality like 2G/3G/4G/5G.
- Debug 4G/5G live networks and Simulator failures.
- Drive defects analysis and root cause with project teams.
- Understand how cellular networks work and interact with the network, including knowledge of Phy, protocol n/w layers, bands, etc.
- Use strong scripting experience (Python preferred, Perl) and debugging skills.
- Work with Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins for job configurations, and understand software development flow with continuous integration knowledge.
- Set up Mac-based hosts, install automation tools for crafting test setups.
- Excel in cellular system test automation execution and experience isolating software/hardware issues.
- Familiarity with operating test equipment (CMW500, Anritsu, Keysight).
- Demonstrate teamwork, diligence, and good communication skills.
Requirements:
- Experience leading small teams of engineers as a tech lead or manager.
- Strong domain expertise in cellular baseband development and testing.
- Experience setting up and managing test systems for end-to-end cellular functionality.
- Proven experience in debugging 4G/5G live networks and simulator failures.
- Strong scripting experience, preferably in Python or Perl.
- Familiarity with Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins for job configurations.
- Knowledge of cellular network functionality, including Phy, protocol network layers, bands, etc.
- Experience with continuous integration flows.
- Ability to set up Mac-based hosts and install automation tools for crafting test setups.
- Expertise in cellular system test automation execution.
- Familiarity with operating test equipment such as CMW500, Anritsu, Keysight.
- Strong teamwork, diligence, and communication skills.
