Job Responsibilities:
As a member of our team, your main responsibilities will include:
Supporting mechanical design and analysis of a wide range of mechanical structures and products.
Coordinating and communicating regularly with team members in various Boeing organizations, providing project progress updates, quality metrics, project summaries, and related documents.
Working independently with minimal supervision to develop conceptual and detailed designs based on requirements.
Proactively seeking information and direction to successfully complete assigned tasks.
Participating in and supporting initiatives of Boeing India organization, focusing on engineering excellence, employee development, and customer engagement.
Being located at the Boeing India Engineering and Technology Center in Bangalore, India.

Qualifications required:
To be considered for this position, you should have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Civil disciplines.
Fresh graduates will be considered if their skillsets match the requirements.
0-4 years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of structural design, mechanical design, and material properties, including awareness of industry standards for structural and mechanical systems design.
Proficiency in CAD tools such as CATIA, Creo, and Unigraphics/NX for modeling, drafting, and model-based definition.
Ability to work with a positive attitude and the highest ethical standards, even under minimal supervision.
Preferred skills:
In addition, the following skills are preferred:
Good knowledge of various aircraft structural components.
Basic knowledge of stress analysis.
Familiarity with aerospace standards, materials, fasteners, manufacturing methods, and drawing interpretation.
Experience in investigating manufacturing issues and providing effective engineering solutions, with a preference for repair and concessions experience.
Basic understanding of the certification process and product lifecycle.
Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and its applications.
Knowledge of PLM/PDM tools like Enovia or Teamcenter.
Experience with Boeing tools and standards is desirable.
Ability to verify the accuracy of technical and non-technical data, and gather relevant data for root cause analysis to resolve design discrepancies.
Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including early or late shifts, to interface with Boeing personnel worldwide.
