Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product design and engineering teams to implement application front-end based on design comps.
- Plan and estimate projects, reporting hours and developing user-facing UI for complex web applications.
- Integrate front-end applications with developers and adhere to established coding practices and standards.
- Optimize UI code, CSS, and JavaScript for optimal performance.
- Maintain, debug, and enhance code, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.
- Build UI on various server platforms within a team environment.
- Enhance the organization’s reputation by taking ownership of new features and contributing to a culture of high code quality.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in any stream.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 for web/mobile projects with responsive UI.
- Proficient in JavaScript with expertise in DOM manipulation and event binding.
- Ability to convert designs into HTML/CSS.
- Experience in handling UI-related issues related to cross-browser compatibility, cross-platform, and multilingual aspects.
- Proficient in writing semantic and W3C-compliant code.
- Good exposure to CSS pre-processors (SCSS preferred).
- Nice to have working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks and libraries (React preferred).
- Familiarity with page performance optimization is a plus.
