Job Responsibilities:
- Implement new features of specific components of Db2 databases on the z/OS platform.
- Deliver fixes to customer-reported problems following the APAR (Authorized Program Analysis Report) process.
- Create unit tests and functional level test cases to ensure that the code changes meet the business requirements.
- Automate test cases and add them to regression test buckets.
- Manage the backlog of defects and APAR effectively to meet target dates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the build and infrastructure team, system test team, and performance test team, to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Provide documentation and training to the organization as needed.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MS).
Preferred Skills:
- 0-2 years of experience in C/C++ development skills with a good understanding of object-oriented design.
- Strong background in computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Passion for learning and exploring new technologies, and demonstrates good problem-solving skills.
