Job Description
Cognizant is currently seeking candidates for the Programmer Analyst Trainee position!
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Comprehend the functional aspects of the client’s requirements.
- Timely raise clarifications, issues, or concerns about work output to the team lead.
- Adhere strictly to schedules and timelines.
- Foster effective working relationships with team members and supervisors.
- Abide by organizational policies and procedures.
- Actively participate in project and organization initiatives led by Delivery leadership.
- Ensure proper classification and prioritization of tasks.
- Follow the defined process meticulously during task execution.
- Contribute to the creation of documentation for client-specific applications, project-specific processes, and workflows.
- Engage in daily standup calls and weekly meetings.
- Contribute to the generation of weekly and monthly reports for clients.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the quality processes and practices applied in the project from various sources.
- Review project-specific documents and attend knowledge transition sessions to learn about client application suites, technology stacks, and client-specific processes and tools (such as Quality Center and JIRA).
- Complete domain/technical/project-related training and certifications.
