Job Description:
Cognizant is seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as DevOps Engineer Associates. As a DevOps Engineer Associate, you will play a key role in our client projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement DevOps solutions that streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases and deployments.
- Automate and streamline development, testing, and deployment processes through continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Implement and maintain DevOps tools and practices to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Develop scripts and automation tools to improve the efficiency of operational tasks.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and automation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, Ruby, etc.).
- Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
