Job Responsibilities:
As a Technical Support Engineer at BIOVIA, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Handling support requests from customers who require assistance with BIOVIA’s commercial enterprise software products.
- Providing technical support for post-deployment issues, working directly with customers to resolve their problems.
- Responding quickly to customer service requests and inquiries.
- Documenting updates and progress on customer issues in service request management tools.
- Collaborating with the Research and Development (R&D) team to improve the quality of BIOVIA software.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing their concerns and providing timely solutions.
Qualification required:
To qualify for this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a Life Sciences related domain.
Preferred skills:
The following skills would be advantageous for this role:
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen interest in customer-facing roles.
- Ability to work independently or in small teams.
- Demonstrable experience in any/all of the following technology areas would be an added advantage.
