Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for working on intricate features throughout the software lifecycle, navigating releases and agile methodologies. Your tasks will involve:
- Understanding and gathering software requirements, converting them into actionable tasks, creating tests, and setting up automation.
- Taking charge of devising and executing test plans, along with implementing automation strategies for the PowerFlex product.
- Utilizing a range of tools like Python, Selenium, and internal automation platforms to build effective automation.
Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for this position, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on QA experience in areas like Storage, Server, Virtualization, UI testing, and networking.
Preferred Skills:
Preferred skills for this role include:
- Proficiency in coding with a strong command of Python.
- Solid troubleshooting skills and a knack for analytical thinking.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies and the software lifecycle.
- Exposure to storage solutions (files, block storage, replication, etc.) from any vendor.
- Knowledge of Containers, Dockers, Kubernetes, and experience in validating full-stack storage management products (covering UI, REST, and Backend).
