Ericsson Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance software and solutions using C/C++, Python, Shell Script, SS7, and Middleware Application Servers as part of the development team.
- Improve business critical applications for customers by experimenting with and adopting cutting-edge technologies, components, and methodologies.
- Contribute to defining and cultivating a proactive team culture, work methods, and environment.
- Collaborate effectively within an Agile development team throughout the entire feature life cycle, encompassing prioritization, design, development, testing, and release.
Ericsson Eligibility Criteria:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience with software development in UNIX/Linux environments.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
- Strong familiarity with Linux and a grasp of its operating system internals.
- Substantial expertise in multi-threaded programming, thread pools, and process synchronization.
- Knowledgeable in the SS7 signaling protocol and understanding of SIP (Session Initiation Protocol).
- Proficiency in Python, Shell, and Perl scripting.
- Experience using source code control systems, preferably GIT.
- Hands-on experience in Power/Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with Basic Oracle/SQL.
- Ability to comprehend and resolve complex issues and topologies within large enterprises.
- Prior exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum).
