Job Responsibilities:

1. Support the entire application lifecycle, including concept design, testing, release, and support.
2. Develop fully functional mobile applications by writing clean code.
3. Gather specific requirements from stakeholders and suggest appropriate solutions.
4. Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
5. Design interfaces to improve user experience.
6. Ensure that new and legacy applications meet quality standards.
7. Research and suggest new mobile products, applications, and protocols.
8. Stay up to date with new technology trends in the mobile development field.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. BTech or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines, or equivalent experience in technical roles.
2. 0-1 year of related product development experience in a technology company in the financial services space.
3. Familiarity with Android Studio and proficiency in Kotlin/Java for Android development.

Preferred Skills:

1. Ability to independently develop code based on user stories, tasks, or tickets from project management tools like Jira.
2. Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting application issues.
3. Knowledge of using Firebase/Firestore and Google Analytics tools in connection with mobile applications.
4. Basic understanding of implementing 3rd party SDKs into mobile applications.
5. Familiarity with the latest programming trends such as API gateways, code obfuscation, and utilizing hardware modules for specific purposes (e.g., camera for QR/EAN reading).
6. Familiarity with platform best practices and UX/UI guidance.
7. Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and reliability.

Skills:

1. Experience with Android SDK and Kotlin.
2. Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
3. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
4. Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, MVVM architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
5. Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
6. Familiarity with Android Jetpack components (RxJava, Dagger, ViewModel, LiveData, NavigationComponents).
7. Familiarity with push notification implementation.
