Responsibilities:

Design and develop new products and support existing ones using technologies used in MarketMap.
Learn and utilize the MarketMap time series database proprietary technology.
Participate in scrum and other business meetings.
Contribute to proof-of-concepts (POCs) and client demos.
Collaborate with Business Analysts (BA) for implementation and assist in automations.
Provide rotational on-call production support, with basic training provided.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and apply them in product development.
Conduct unit and/or regression testing extensively.
Enhance and maintain legacy products and internal tools.
Refactor code to remove technical debt.
Work with bug tracking software and adhere to agile Scrum methodology.
Collaborate effectively with project team members, both local and remote, as well as other groups such as QA, Support, and Product Management.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (BE/B Tech/MCA) related to programming.
Good to have certifications in programming languages like Java, Python, C, or C++.
0-2 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Java or Python.
Solid understanding of basic programming languages (C/C++/C#).
Familiarity with the Linux platform.
Experience with Perl, shell, or any scripting language.
Knowledge of SQL and understanding of database technology and architecture.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Solid understanding of object-oriented design and analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Quick learner of new technologies.
Experience with Linux, shell scripting, and Perl programming.
Familiarity with source control concepts and management.
Ability to enhance and maintain legacy products and internal tools.
Experience working with bug tracking software.
Effective collaboration within a technical context.
Familiarity with agile Scrum methodology.
