Job Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise and support to the Customer Focus Team (CFT) in materials planning for specific projects, ensuring timely materials support to meet customer schedules.
- Monitor materials status using shortage reports and submit excess and obsolete inventory details to the customer.
- Manage work orders, inventory, and MRB (Material Review Board) and DR (Discrepant Material Report) processes to achieve operational goals.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) accounts by providing faster service and effective communication with customers.
- Analyze material availability and capacity based on customer demand and develop loading schedules accordingly.
- Run weekly system reports to identify material shortages and work with the buying team to resolve them.
- Handle work order management based on the build plan and implement various inventory management measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective planning and production processes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Engineering Graduates.
- Experience: 0-3 years in Planning/Supply Chain Purchasing, Planning, and Supply Chain knowledge/experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Mandatory knowledge of computer software applications, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of planning tools like Kinaxis will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in ERP/P2P systems such as BAAN/SAP/Oracle.
- Knowledge of Engineering BOMs (Bill of Materials), product structure, End of Life (EOL), and ECO (Engineering Change Order) management.
- Familiarity with the complete planning cycle, including MPS (Master Production Schedule), MRP (Material Requirements Planning), Demand Planning, Materials planning, and Production planning.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with internal teams and customers.
