Job Requirements:
Job Summary: To strengthen our exceptional teams dedicated to crafting outstanding products and driving our expansion, we are looking to welcome a Junior Engineer – GBS Engineering to our team in Chennai.
A Glimpse into a Regular Day:
- Engage proficiently with clients/suppliers across various nations.
- Coordinate effectively with multiple teams to execute Environmental Compliance tasks.
- Collaborate actively within the team.
- Accumulate, assess, and archive component-related data for Environmental Compliance through Assent Compliance Management.
- Adhere strictly to established processes and avoid any deviations.
- Engage with numerous clients or suppliers to meet distinct Environmental Regulatory prerequisites.
- Provide necessary training to suppliers regarding Environmental Compliance requirements as per customer specifications.
- Support the organization during regulatory, internal, and third-party audits.
- Manage changes in regulations within ACM, predict risk factors for impacted components, and promptly notify the Product Environment Compliance team.
- Participate in scheduled or impromptu meetings involving Site, Field Engineering, and Customers on a regular basis.
- Possess electronics acumen.
- Perform data entry of part lists, Manufacturer contacts, and Compliance details into the Windchill Product Analytics tool.
- Gather, evaluate, and archive component-related information concerning environmental compliance.
- Provide reports and guidance related to requested Compliance information or reports.
- Interact with manufacturers in America, Europe, and Asia to acquire environmental declarations.
- Support supplier engineers, collaborate with suppliers, commodity management, procurement, and design engineering to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
- Be willing to accommodate night shifts.
The Expertise We Desire in Our Team:
- B.E / B. Tech (Chemical\ EEE\ ECE\Mechanical)/MSc in Electronics/Chemistry /Environmental Science.
- Role as an Individual Contributor (0 – 2 years’ experience).
- Proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
- Familiarity with fundamental Office Tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, among others.
