Job Responsibilities:
As an intern, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Utilize programming, engineering, and innovation skills to implement new ideas, develop tools and applications, and improve existing methods, tools, processes, and features in projects.
- Engage with stakeholders, customers, and colleagues on a daily basis, requiring interpersonal, soft, and presentation skills.
- Complete assignments and projects throughout the internship duration. This intern-led and intern-run project will focus on enhancing and refining your skill set.
Qualification required:
- Final-year student pursuing B.Tech or M.Tech/M.E in Computer Science, Power Systems, Instrumentation, Electronics, Communications, or related streams from reputed institutes (IIT/NIT/BITS/other reputed institutes).
Preferred skills:
- Demonstrated academic excellence with consistent and strong academic credentials.
- Passion for engineering, with strong technical aptitude and an analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Proficient programming skills in languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, and scripting languages on both Windows and Linux platforms.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
- Good mathematical, analytical, and logical abilities, applied to effective problem-solving.
- Ability to generate multiple alternative solutions, evaluate pros and cons, and justify the best solution.
- Strong root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
- In-depth understanding of desktop, web, and cloud-based application development and deployment.
- Awareness of Microservices architecture and related tools.
- Hands-on experience with hypervisors, Virtual Machines (VMs), Containers, Dockers, and related tools.
- Familiarity with secure application development, cybersecurity tools, and the software development lifecycle.
- Expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) frameworks and tools.
- Familiarity with equipment and tools such as secondary injection relay test kits, protocol analyzers, simulators, MATLAB, LabVIEW, etc.
- Understanding and appreciation of testing philosophy, methodologies, test tools, test automation techniques, and release quality requirements.
- Quick learner with the ability to develop a micro and macro understanding of the scope of work through self-learning and resource-seeking.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to document and explain designs, architectures, and logic effectively.
- Understanding of Power System concepts is an added advantage.
- A team player who can interact with all required stakeholders with ease.
