Job Responsibilities:
- Lead teams and meet service level targets, providing mentorship to direct reports, which include Domain Experts and Assistant Managers.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on trends in key underwriting performance drivers.
- Conduct weekly/monthly/quarterly discussions on operations with UK partners.
- Understand risks faced by the function and the controls in place to balance and mitigate those risks.
- Ensure clarity around priorities and goals for the entire functional area.
- Function effectively in a team environment and exercise good judgment.
- Collaborate with senior management and peers for strategy development and execution planning.
- Approve hiring and redeployment requests within the group.
Genpact Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduate in any stream except Technical.
- Property and Casualty Insurance Knowledge or Higher Certification in Underwriting (P&C) preferred.
Preferred Skill:
- Ability to think long-term strategically and operationally.
- High customer service orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a full understanding of UK insurance underwriting and claims cycle dynamics, including the Lloyd’s market.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Strong statistical knowledge.
- Highly motivated and achievement-oriented.
