Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive test plans for networking features, equipment, and related systems, utilizing automation tools.
- Create and set up testbeds for testing networking software, topologies, and migrations. Collaborate with development teams to formulate effective test strategies.
- Propose innovative solutions for intricate and open-ended problems. Certify software releases, new topologies, and migration plans for widespread use.
- Offer expert insights in network test engineering, including knowledge of software testing methodologies. Oversee testing priorities for specific projects or releases, which may involve identifying release-stopping issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical leaders and software engineers to refine system designs.
Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or possess equivalent practical experience.
- Have at least 1 year of experience in Network Testing.
- Possess expertise in Network Test Automation, TCP/IP, IP Peering, Network Protocol Management, Network Troubleshooting, Network Design, C++, and Go.
- Be familiar with Kubernetes and Virtualization.
- Have hands-on experience managing live production networks (e.g., ISP or customer networks).
- Have experience testing networking products and participating in network migrations or deployments.
- Be proficient in Unix/Linux operating systems.
