Responsibilities For Hexagon Hiring For Freshers :
- Develop comprehensive test plans for new implementations and release testing workflows.
- Execute manual test plans for frequent releases and provide support for new implementations.
- Advocate for quality throughout the development process, ensuring testability from design to coding.
- Assist in deploying builds within the CI/CD pipeline.
- Strive for increased automation coverage of test cases using the Shift-Left Methodology.
- Collaborate with the Functional Engineer to validate automation feasibility for test scenarios.
- Generate reports on unit test and ATP coverage.
- Collaborate closely with the Scrum team and QA members to ensure proper ATP implementation.
- Adhere to the QA process (Scrum) and minimize QA-reported bugs/issues.
- Prioritize the Automation backlog in collaboration with the Manager.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering
- 0 to 2 years of experience with Java or C++ and API testing.
Desired Qualities:
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills for collaboration with overseas counterparts.
Position Overview – Quality Assurance Analyst/Software Design Engineer in Test:
This role involves both manual and automated software testing for an Engineering Software application, with a focus on enhancing 3D model software capabilities. Responsibilities encompass areas such as import, export, persistency, display, navigation, and user interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in manual testing based on project requirements.
- Define and conduct product testing, reporting identified bugs, and engaging with stakeholders.
- Develop test plans for new implementations and release testing workflows.
- Create ATPs for the product using in-house framework or collaborate to develop a framework.
- Maximize automation coverage to promote the Shift-Left Methodology.
- Collaborate with the development team as a quality advocate, ensuring code testability.
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and innovative thinking are essential for success in this role.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Java or C++ programming and API testing.
- Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
- Familiarity with Microservices architecture.
- Experience with tools like Postman, Selenium, Coded UI, JMeter (a plus).
